Olive.

Generally my favorite colors tend to be severely muted tones such as; olive, gray, and rose. This unconscious decision is prevalent in  my day-to-day journeys and the things I generally gravitate toward and therefore own. There's something about the subtlety that is compelling, enough to motivate the direction of my belongings. My room, a pale gray, is such a personal place filled with almost every work of art I've created yet. Its rewarding to see everything simultaneously as a collection in such an intimate space. My room is my own personal gallery, conceptualized, designed, and curated by me.

Green Ivy.

My last confrontation with pure peace and serenity. My last adventure in the woods until fall semester begins. My last first year of school. I can't believe its all over; or just beginning, depending on how you look at it. Of all the people I've met this year and all the things I've experienced, the placid woods have always been my greatest company. Observing beauty in its most natural state is fascinating, I can venture anywhere aimlessly with no care in the world, me and my camera alone.

Amethyst, while a beautiful contrast from the chartreuse, and also a perfect color combination, is one of my favorite crystals. It is said Amethyst clusters like this provide healing from negative influences bringing power and strength.

An Early Day in May.

What was once dead a few weeks ago has become luscious and green with life. I've been lucky enough to catch each season as it comes and goes. The Earth provides beauty, its up to us what we do with it; in my case I photograph it. Spring won't last long, the flowers will soon be gone, and I'll always have it with me. Photographs tell stories, reveal memories, and capture moments to be saved forever, thats the perfection of the trade. Brain capacity is limited, but a photo can take you back to that moment, its fascinating!

Turn Up!

A few friends and I made an appearance at the Juicy J "Stay Trippy Tour" this Wednesday. Road tripping from NC to Athens, Georgia we made sure to get hyped up on the way blasting music and vibing together. Already pumped and waiting in line I decided to snap a couple shots, I always love documenting special moments and the retro Georgia Theatre sign was too cool not to capture.
Needless to say we had a great time!
